Sweaty maid - temazcal

It is a sacred space representing the womb of Mother Earth. It is a small dome made of branches and twigs. It has its origins in the traditions of many tribes in various places around the Earth. The sweat lodge combines all four elements – the stones are heated in a huge fire, then placed in a hole in the center of the temazcal and poured with water.
